When we last left our intrepid samurai warrior, Jack was still stuck in the dystopic future the demon Aku had transported him to in the very first episode, and still searching for a way to get back to his own time and defeat Aku before his evil spread over the entire galaxy. New Line began development on a feature film waaaay back in 02, but the project was abandoned and creator Genndy Tartakovsky moved on to other films, including Sony's upcoming animated monster flick 'Hotel Transylvania.'
