Popular VPN service now available for Mac users. Usenet newsgroup service provider Giganews launched a fee VPN service with its “Diamond” subscription package back in 2009, and it has been growing in popularity ever since. Called VyprVPN, the VPN service has helped users protect their traffic from the prying eyes of hackers, govts, and other with malicious intent, as well as to help thwart arbitrary geographic content restrictions and ISP-level Internet filtering regimes. Its long been available for Windows users, and last month it launched a mobile app for Android and iOS devices. Yet, still lost in the equation was a Mac service – until now. For, yesterday, Giganews announced the availability of VyprVPN for Mac.

Paypal Holds User’s Funds to Earn off Their Interest

Posted: 17 Jan 2013 11:08 AM PST

New information has been brought forward that seems to suggest that online payment provider Paypal, has for a long time been deliberately stalling the withdrawal of user’s funds in order to make money off of the interest. While Paypal has yet to comment on these claims, one user has come forward with some of his own research that seems rather fishy if you consider the implications. Paypal currently offers a fast withdrawal system, in line with British banks which require by law that users are able to transfer money between accounts within a couple of hours. In reality, transactions should be near instantaneous and for the majority of them that seems the case.
