Oh hey, woowone! ! Now, we know you come to NRT every Tuesday to find out what's new in Christian music, but we also know you come the other days of the week to enjoy our free downloads, streaming album previews and industry-leading articles and interviews. And we've got plenty to keep you rockin' this week.
Petra frontman John Schlitt releases his much-anticipated, fan-funded The Christmas Project this week, giving familiar tunes his arena-filling rock voice. It's memorable; pick it up (and read our review)! Our friends (and WE LOVE AWARD nominees) Thousand Foot Krutch released both of their remix EPs in a single "Metamorphosiz" album. And finally, rapper Jahaziel gives us a Heads Up about what's new in Christian rap (read our review).
BEC Recordings band All Things New released their debut, self-titled record in April, and rather than just release an EP or extended single this holiday season, the Florida quartet is re-releasing their album as a Christmas editiona great transition into the holiday season as we edge ever closer to Thanksgiving. Check it out all week on the album preview!
It's Indie Discovery week on our Free Downloads page! Check out new songs from up-and-comers Candice Russell, Nicois, Young King David and Sean Park. We also point you to even MORE free songs from our friends at NoiseTrade! Don't forget to check out some moving interviews with JJ Heller, Misty Edwards and Bellarive. Our favorite part of what we do is getting to hear how God is moving in people's lives; these interviews capture that, for sure!
We've blasted through last year's voting record for the WE LOVE CHRISTIAN MUSIC AWARDS; keep voting for your favorites (as much as you want!) to ensure they win! Head over to http://nrt.cc/WeLoveVote now! Have a blessed week! We'll talk again in 7! Marcus Hathcock, NRT Editor-in-Chief NewReleaseTuesday.com @mheternal |
