Proving our fascination with pet photography long pre-dates the Internet, in 1914 the El Paso Herald (El Paso, TX) published an almost-daily series of photographed tableaux featuring costumed kittens and puppies posed in everyday human activities. Each tableau was accompanied by a tale of the "children" in Tabbyland and their misadventures.
