It could seem like you have a greater ability to impress other people today. You may notice that you can more easily influence people by turning on your charm and may feel like using this magnetism to your advantage today. This would be a good time to evaluate the type of impression you want to leave on others. If you notice that you have a tendency to dominate your interactions, you may want to consider learning to look at yourself from an external perspective. While you are with others, you can take a few minutes to notice the ways they respond to you. Notice their body language or listen to their responses to you. Try picturing how you would respond to your suggestions if you were someone else.

Taking a step outside of ourselves is a powerful way to assess the true nature of our influence. When we think that our influence knows know bounds, we can tend to overpower others in our interactions by interrupting them or not even letting them speak. Our real ability to influence people, however, comes from understanding the needs of other people. Picturing ourselves as being on the receiving end of our interactions helps us see ourselves as we are without the bias of our wish to control others. This allows us to fully understand the nature of the impressions we make and interact in a much healthier way. By becoming aware of type of influence you have today, you will learn to utilize your appeal in more beneficial ways.
