This year's music schedule for the July 31 through August 3 festival includes a ton of local favorites, and will also feature a jazz exhibit at the Old U.S. Mint, along with numerous workshops and seminars. CONNECTING DOTS Zydeco is moving to Philadelphia. Nope, not kidding. There's a huge project, Zydeco Crossroads, that's being developed in Philly. It will expose a lot of new people to the genre, which is fantastic. I wish there were a way that everything related to music in the city and state could be coordinated so that we could really kick it up a notch for our music. That means coordination...connecting the dots, so we're all on the same page. ---------------------------------------------------------- Here are the results of last week's poll:
