When Disney announced their plans for Star Wars at this year's Comic-Con, there was plenty about their upcoming animated series Rebels and the usual toys, novels and whatnot, but no mention of Episode VII or the planned spinoff films. Many suspected this meant that the studio was simply playing coy with their plans, but sources close to the film's production and at Comic-Con are telling Deadline that director J.J. Abrams and the rest of the cast will be a no-show at this year's convention. It is suggested that the main reason is the fact that they are busy with production, especially now considering they will have to take a two week hiatus due to star Harrison Ford's recent on-set injury.
