Pirate Day at the Library of Congress Young Readers Center! 08/08/2014 02:24 PM EDT Join the Young Readers Center at The Library of Congress on Tuesday, Aug. 12, for a day of pirate-themed family fun. At 11:30 and 12:30, Carlin Sayles of the Geography and Map Division will give a presentation for children featuring maps from the Library of Congress collections. Enjoy pirate-themed books, crafts and activities from 9:00 until 4:30. The Young Readers Center is in room G29 of the Thomas Jefferson Building, 10 First St. S.E.
