The Wall Street Journal reveals that a movie based on the game Tetris is in the works. Yes, that game where you move different shaped blocks around is not only set to become a movie, but it's being called a quote "very big, epic sci-fi movie" from the film's producer, Larry Kasanoff. This isn't the first game Kasanoff has turned into a movie. Back in 1995, he helped bring Mortal Kombat to the big screen and has since worked on movies featuring the Bionicle and LEGO toys and directed an animated film called Foodfight that featured brand mascots like Charlie Tuna, Mr. Clean and Mrs. Butterworth. Yeah, that exists. If you grew up in the 80's, you're very aware of the cultural impact Tetris had.
