Bid and Proposal Manager (Kuwait) Posted: The position is required to perform tendering activities for substation business in accordance with customer requirements. Ensure timely submission of quotations in accordance with ABB procurement processes and meet or exceed the order received. Tasks: The main responsibilities include: Ensure that business opportunities are recognized and the business unit is positioned to take advantage of those opportunities, Responsible for compilation of bid according to client specifications, requirements, formats and procedures, Ensures completion of Project Risk Review documentation in accordance with ABB Group and internal policies, Coordinates with internal functions the analysis of legal, contractual clauses, risks and costs associated with the project, Analyzes and Collaborates with supply chain management team to review vendor proposals from a contractual and technical point of view, Negotiates suitable consortium/subcontract agreements and relevant work allocation with bid partners, as applicable, Collects all relevant documentation for the proposal and records the decisions and hypothesis rationale adopted during its development, Participate in and play a significant role in developing bid strategies, plans and schedules, Pursue Prequalification activities, Standardization of technical calculations tools, Standardization of systems & process in Proposal team, Order handover to Project execution team, Technical Presentations to customers, Knowledge of E House engineering & estimation, Build a team for bid and proposals. Requirements: The candidate should have previous experience on substation activities, Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering, Minimum 10 years of experience in substation business. Previous ABB or similar direct competitor experience, Fluency in both spoken & written English language is required, Should be capable to work independently.
