Tune in to VHP on Your Radio Monday, November 10thDispatch November 10, 2014 Tuesday, November 11, 2014, marks Veterans Day, and the Veterans History Project (VHP) is asking everyone to make it meaningful. Prior to the holiday, VHP Director Bob Patrick will be a featured guest on several radio stations across the nation to talk about the importance of collecting and preserving veteransâ oral histories for the Library of Congress. To date, VHP holds nearly 95,000 collections in its archive; more than 100 new collections arrive each week. This could not be possible without the thousands of volunteers all over the country who diligently collect and submit these stories. However, there are 17 million more veterans whose stories have yet to be told. Tune in Monday, November 10 to find out how you can help. Air times will vary.
