You might feel like indulging your friends or family members by treating them to something special today. Perhaps you may have the need to return the love you have received from them over the years by pampering them in some way. Doing something out of the ordinary and with special care and love could be a good way to demonstrate your love today. You might consider hosting a special party or dinner for those you care about or maybe even doing something simple such as giving a back rub, helping with spring cleaning, or running errands. As you think of some way to illustrate your care, you may want to remind yourself that you are doing this to show your love and not to receive anything in return. Keeping this in mind could make your gifts much more valuable and precious.

Treating our loved ones to something special and unusual demonstrates the depth of our care. It is normal for us to spend time with our friends and family doing ordinary things, but creating an extraordinary moment and experience allows them to see that our love goes beyond the boundaries of everyday life. In indulging our loved ones we show that our connection is much more than the average run-of-the-mill relationship. Instead we reveal our true feelings—that our connection is unique, exceptional, and beloved. Presenting your loved ones with an experience they do not usually have will foster a greater and deeper amount of affection and connectedness between you today.
