The resources we tend to value most are often those that add significance to our existence, but genuine abundance is a measure of what we do rather than what we possess. All of the time, money, and energy we have at our disposal can be viewed as the raw materials of charitable interaction. There is nothing that we have that cannot make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than ourselves, but it is up to us to recognize those opportunities that will allow us to make the most of our resources. When we feel we have little to give, we need only change the way we perceive our prosperity.
