Dear Friends,

In March of this year I released my first guided meditation download, Releasing Fire Meditation, which you embraced wholeheartedly. It brought me great joy to read your letters and reviews of how much the meditation has helped you. As promised, I am now offering my second release titled Eagle Meditation.

Eagle Meditation asks nothing of you except to relax and fly on a journey. You don't need to release or do any work—just relax. Your meditation starts in a forest where you are an eagle safely perched high in a tree, and when you take flight you will soar over the Earth, taking in the smells, sights, and sounds as you travel. This meditation sits on a bed of relaxing music with lovely sound effects to add to the overall mood. If you have ever had a dream where you are flying, this meditation would be similar. I have always loved flying dreams, and I wake up so grateful when I have one. Eagle Meditation keeps me satisfied in between dreams and gives me the same feeling of being free of my body and fully relaxed.

As with all of my meditations that are offered to you, this one was written in sacred space with the intent of bringing deep and full relaxation. In this case the sacred space was in my garden. I didn't have eagles flying over that piece of land; they were nested about five miles away. Instead we had red-tailed hawks, turkey vultures, owls, and many varieties of songbirds. Whenever I go for a walk I always pick up feathers when they cross my path, and if by chance I don't pick up the feather it will bother me until I go back and pick it up! My young son has also become a collector of feathers, and he sweetly found his first hawk feather at the age of two.

Over the coming months I will offer you a variety of guided meditations because people have different taste and preferences in what they like. I am such a believer in meditation, and guided meditation is a wonderful way to get started with a practice or to add variety in your life. Other times we just want to relax and go on a journey, and this meditation was written for that purpose. I hope you enjoy it and I hope it brings peace and relaxation into your life.
