| Emmys 2015 Ratings Down 20% from Last Year Posted: 21 Sep 2015 08:00 AM PDT  Andy Samberg poses for a photo by the bar at his private after party following the 2015 Emmy Awards on Sunday night (September 20) at Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles. The 37-year-old actor hosted the show for the first time, but unfortunately it didn’t drum up a huge audience this year. The initial ratings are in for the broadcast and it brought in an 8.7 overnight household rating and a 14 share, which means 8.7% of all television-equipped households in the country were tuned in and 14% of all households watching television at that time were tuned in. Last year’s Emmys brought in a 10.9 rating and 18 share when the show aired in late August on a Monday night. This is a 20% drop from that show, according to Variety. The 34-year-old pregnant reality star recently took to her new website to talk about Caitlyn Jenner, and finding out about her true identity many years ago. “My mom was out of town with my little sisters, visiting my grandmother in San Diego, and I was living with her and Bruce at the time in Calabasas. I came home from a friend’s house and walked into the garage and Bruce was there, dressed up as a woman. Heels, wig, makeup and all! I don’t remember specifically what he had on because I put my head down and ran into my bedroom,” Kim described in her blog. “Had I not overheard my dad and his friends discussing rumors that Bruce would dress up as a woman years before (when I was about 11 years old), I never would have believed what I was seeing. Posted: 20 Sep 2015 08:35 PM PDT  After getting in a traumatic car accident last year, Tracy Morgan made a surprise appearance at the 2015 Emmy Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (September 20) in Los Angeles. The 46-year-old actor took to the stage for his first appearance at a Hollywood event to present the award for Outstanding Drama Series. Before giving the award to Game of Thrones, Tracy talked about his progress since the accident. "Last year, Jimmy Kimmel said, we'd see you here next year, Tracy Morgan. Thanks to my doctors and my beautiful wife, I'm here standing on my own two feet. God bless all you for your love, prayers and positive thoughts for the past 15 months. I'm honored to be here at the Emmys," he said. Just a few years back, Kerry Washington became the first black woman in nearly two decades to get a nomination in the category.
