I love black and white photography more, but I continue to take color photos because they're cool too. This year, I procrastinated a bit with my color poster and salon print, because I had so many more good black and white pictures. But I got them finished eventually.

Taken in October, this is the oldest picture used on my poster. I took this at a local park. I love how vibrant the leaves are!

I have a very similar photo on my black and white poster, but I didn't mess with this photo on the computer to make a monochrome version. You're not allowed to mess with your photos at all, which includes cropping, changing colors, and other touching up. The only exhibits in which you can mess with your pictures are the Enhanced Photography choices. So, what I did at the Photography workshop was to take a picture of the marbles in black and white, then one in color. I think both versions are cool. The colors of this one are pretty, and I like the reflections in the other.

I took this photo at a workshop, and I have a black and white version too. I like the colors of the candy! I was surprised to see that this photo had a gold sticker, because I can enter it in the calendar contest!

Another workshop photo! I really like the purple jewels!

These are the flowers of a bush in our yard. The photo on my poster actually looks slightly different. On the computer, the background looks black, but when printed, you can see dark green leaves. Either way, I love how the photo looks.

I thought this flower in our yard looked very pretty, so I snapped a shot and I was amazed by how well it turned out. The pollen looks great!

I took this photo on the 4th of July, along with the next two photos. I like the shadows and how majestic the tree is.

This is a summery photo! I love the bright colors and the textures of the cattails.

My cousin Jennings jumped again and again, and I finally took one great photo. I love the sport mode on my camera!

One of the photos I'd chosen didn't look well once it was printed, so I scrambled to get a tenth picture. According to my brother, this is Mabel the chicken, although all 18 hens look the same to me.

For my salon print, I was trying to match the matte color to the color of a small detail of the photo. I couldn't decide between the yellow-green of the filaments and the yellow of the pollen. So I chose both!

Which photo is your favorite?

Did I mention that in Photography, it is really hard to even get an A, Honor?
