Various interpretations of the Second Amendment often lead to very different answers to questions such as: "What did the framers of the Constitution intend?"; "Is the right to own a gun fundamental?"; "What have been the historical interpretations and applications by the Supreme Court?"; and "What does the Second Amendment really mean?" Michael Waldman, president of the Brennan Center for Justice, will discuss and sign his new book, "The Second Amendment: A Biography" on Tuesday, June 24, at noon, in the Library of Congress Madison Building, 6th floor Mumford Room. 101 Independence Ave SE. Free and open to the public; no tickets required.
