We have many years of operational experience in supporting global companies and organizations with their supply chain strategy. Over the years, our company has worked with some of the largest organizations worldwide, including NGOs, various government contractors as well as the mining, drilling and gas industries with projects in developing countries. Our company is now looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions: Logistics Specialist: Key Accountabilities: Source and quote the best freight rates as per the requirement in a timely manner. Receive shipments and ensure both quality and quantity. Trace, track and expedite purchase processes. Create and maintain contact with vendors and customers to ensure the timely delivery of goods. Interact with third party logistics service providers. Work to tight deadlines based on quote / delivery deadlines. Monitor and close all orders. Review bills, invoices and purchase orders. Ensure all payments are processed on time. Report to the management as required. Education: Post secondary Business or Supply Chain Management background required. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in automotive and logistics management with increasing levels of responsibility on large-scale projects. Experience in the automotive industry in the products (or logistics) area is essential. Experience in working on reputed ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, etc. will be an advantage.
