Carrie Underwood Is 5 for 5, Her Fifth Album Becomes Her Fifth #1 Country Album Debut! Posted: 28 Dec 2014 07:02 PM PST Megastar Carrie Underwood recently hit a record five for five as her newly released Greatest Hits: Decade #1, 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville, has become her fifth consecutive album to debut at #1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums sales chart! The 25 song collection, which also includes her new single, the GRAMMY®-nominated hit, "Something in the Water" – tops the charts once again with its first-week sales of 94,000. According to Nielsen from SoundScan, delivering the best-selling debut for a hits collection by an artist in any genre of music in more than six years, Carrie has conquered it all. Since November of 2005, when the newly emerged Underwood arose on the country music scene, her now seven times Platinum debuting album, Some Hearts, has no female artist ever debuted with as high as an opening-week sales rank for a hits package. Greatest Hits: Decade #1 has also powered its way to the Top 5 spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, debuting at #4, with the chart's sales and streaming methods being the equal to that of 103,000 albums.
