2015 ACM Awards Announce Performers…And It’s Insane! Posted: 12 Mar 2015 04:32 PM PDT The Academy of Country Music has announced their list of performers for the 50th Annual ACM Awards…and it's INSANE! Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Florida Georgia Line are among the assorted lineup of country music's top acts that will be performing thorough out the evening. In addition to their performances, they all have something else in common. All performers are also nominees! Miranda Lambert leads the awards with 8 nominations, followed by Dierks Bentley with 7 and FGL receiving 5 nominations. Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Eric Church all earned 4 nominations while Jason Aldean landed 3 and Blake Shelton receiving 2. Keith Urban earned a nomination in the category of 'Video of the Year' and to top things off, Garth Brooks is up for Entertainer of the Year, rightfully so. Up and coming new artists, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell are also scheduled to be performing. The 3 will battle it out for the coveted 'New Artist of the Year' award, one of the most highly-anticipated categories of the fan-voted awards. Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are also returning again this year to co-host the ACM Awards. The awards will air live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Sunday, April 19 at 8PM on CBS.
